Oh decisions, decisions...
Justin and I chatted today over the telephono. This weekend we'll be making some decisions. Time to get this thing rolling.

The Team

July 6, 2009- The Beggining
The day the idea was created.
The general outline of what we want to do:
So here is our idea of what we're going to do. Me and Justin want to to travel across the country on our own power to raise money for a charitable organiazation of our choosing. Right now we are thinking of donating either to some kind of verteran orgnaization or maybe some kind of missions organziation. We haven't decided.
The how of getting across the country:
We don't know yet. But basically as of right now, we want to go from California to the East Coast on our own power. That means not riding in a gas or battery operated vehicle.
Our first few ideas on the how:
1. Travel in a straight line from point A to point B. across the whole country. 2. Hit each state along the way. 3. Break the adventure up into different legs. Ex. Leg 1 is all biking. Leg 2 we kayak some rivers. Leg 3 we run or walk. 4. Depending on the following we get we could turn it into a kind of "reality" T.V. thing where we give our followers some choices as to what we do.
The when:
We're thinking of the spring to summer timeframe of 2010.
We don't know who we're going to donate to, how were going to do it, what were going to do or who is coming with us. I think there are alot of unknowns right now. But it's Day 1. If anyone has any ideas as to whatever, please feel free to throw them at us. Any advice or ideas are good ideas and advice right now.
